I've always had a bit of a problem with lace dresses. I have tried it a few times and I can't say I love the look, maybe I've shied away from them due to my Essex girl roots,The lace dress /white stiletto brigade. I do have a couple lace tops but that's about it. So imagine my surprise when shopping last week when I not only tried on a lace dress, I loved it and bought it too. Admittedly that was because it was on special offer in Jaeger, and it was too good a bargain to miss!
I found this dress fits me well and the lace disguises my bag well, much in the same way a patterned or ruffled fabric would. I am a new convert to the ways of lace frocks. Bring on the summer events and going back to my roots!
