Patterned dresses are my savior, a lot of my patterned dresses will fall in to other categories too rather than a stand alone option. The beauty of a pattern is it disrupts the eye line of the fabric, therefore the edges, lumps and bumps are disguised to a degree, often I'll add a slip underneath as well just for added confidence.

Therefore I do tend to wear a lot of patterned clothing. The problem I find with that is I'm instantly attracted to any pattern I see in a stores, like a moth to a flame, which can often be a big mistake as sometimes the pattern over powers me an it ends up wearing me rather than the other way round. I have found that even a subtle pattern will do the trick.

Wearing nice dresses and shoes lets me feel confident, elegant and yes, I suppose sexy even.  Using patterns to camouflage my bags adds to that. There are plenty of things that can derail how we feel about our bodies in this world. We are constantly bombarded with images of the ideal woman or man. Write your own rule book and love what your mamma gave ya!
